Here we go!!!!!

Today was the big day. We went back to the doctor for another round of blood work to check my BHCG. I figured if we go right after church in the afternoon, we wouldnt have to wait that long. The ER is so unpredictable. We had to wait about 20 minutes. Which wasnt that bad I suppose. I had to explain the the triage nurse why we were there. Then when we got back to our room, I had to explain to the nurse practitioner, another nurse, the lab tech, AND the doctor. It was fun to have to repeat myself so many times, and have each of them question the need for the blood work. Maybe some people like to spend their sunday in the emergency room having a needle poked in their arm?? I dont know. But after about 45 minutes, the nurse came in, and said that my HCG level was now at 172. It was 45 on thursday. So it had more than quadrupled! Things are looking good as of right now! The antibiotics they gave me for my UTI have been making me nauseous. I have 10 more days of taking them :/ But better to get it out of the way now. 
The doctors offices are closed tomorrow. So I will call tuesday to make an appointment for my first check up! I am going a different route this pregnancy. I am switching hospitals. And therefore I am on the hunt for a new OB! It should be fun :) 
Ray and I are both more at ease now, and I think its sinking in that we ARE HAVING A BABY!!!! 
The next 9 months are going to be an amazing journey!!
